A modern harbour centre is being built in Vuosaari. This includes a cargo harbour, a logistics area, traffic channels (harbour road, harbour railway line and fairway) and the Meriportti Business Park. The project is being conducted by the Port of Helsinki in co-operation with the Finnish Maritime Administration, the Finnish Rail Administration and the Finnish Road Administration. Vuosaari harbour will go into operation by the end of 2008.
FluidHouse will deliver ramps for Vuosaari harbour for Peab Seicon Oy in cooperation with Lohkoasennus Oy. The total estimated value of the delivery will reach EUR 5 million. The deliveries are scheduled for late 2007 and early 2008, and the new ramps will be implemented during the spring of 2008.
