On the 11th and 12th of October the Hotel of the Templars was held in Take the Bi-Annual Expocelpa Exhibition, Integrated in the XX National Meeting of Tecnicelpa.

This event, which was attended by nearly three hundred participants, mostly members of the Portuguese Association of Technicians of the Pulp and Paper Industries, Tecnicelpa, has as main objective the dissemination of the most recent and innovative technological solutions for the Folder and Paper.

Optieng participated in the Expocelpa Exhibition with three stands, organized and oriented to technological solutions, supported by companies worldwide known for their know-how in the pulp industry.
At Optieng stands, it was possible, through multimedia presentations, to analyze technical content, follow the demonstrations of the various system specialists and explore online content through internet-connected systems.

On November 11, at 16:30 a technical session was held on Quality Control Systems Metso Paper IQ, which had an important participation of technicians and directors of several pulp and paper mills.
This session was conducted by Mr. Jukka Sorsa, Quality Control Systems Specialist at Metso Automation in Tampere, Finland, and was highly questioned on a number of technical issues for very close assistance.

At the Gala Dinner, closing the 20th Tecnicelpa Meeting, Optieng was awarded the prize for "Best Exhibitor", being called to the rostrum of honor, to receive this award, delivered by the Chairman of the Board, Eng. Paulo Barata.
