Valmet DNA system Network
Valmet DNA is a redundant Ethernet network, assembled in a Star or Ring topology.
The system is starting automatically after the power failure without any need of manual assistance.
The system contains a node called BU (Backup Server Unit) and this BU Server contains all applications for Windows nodes and also for Process Controller nodes.
When the system is starting the Windows nodes are booting using their local disk and the Process Controller nodes are loading the system software from the BU Server.
After that all nodes load their applications from the BU server and the system starts’ up.
